This is the website of the Used Tyre Working Group, an industry/Government group established in 1995 to consider used tyre issues in the context of “producer responsibility” policy. 

The aim of the site is to increase awareness of used tyre recovery in the UK, to provide information on the various methods and opportunities available to re-use, recycle or recover energy from used tyres and to provide a list of companies registered to carry out tyre collection and recovery disposal process.
